This Privacy Policy explains how TEHNO FILTER d.o.o. (hereinafter: “TF”) collects and processes your personal data and implements the protection of your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation.

TF is committed to protecting customers’ personal data by collecting only the necessary, basic information about customers/users that is required for the performance of a contract. Customers are regularly given the opportunity to choose how their data is used, including the option to decide whether their name should be removed from lists used for marketing campaigns.
All user data is kept strictly confidential and is accessible only to employees who require such data to perform their duties. All TF employees and business partners are responsible for adhering to the principles of privacy protection.

What Data Do We Collect?
TF values and respects your privacy. Therefore, we collect only the minimum data necessary for the operation of this Website and for the provision of the service you have requested. TF is not responsible for the accuracy of the data entered.

We process your personal data until the purpose of the processing has been fulfilled. Personal data of registered users is retained until consent is withdrawn or the user deregisters.
Personal data of customers contained on invoices issued after completion of an order is retained for 11 years following the end of the year to which the invoices relate, in accordance with the Accounting Act.

What Data Do We Collect:
Personal data: first name, last name, address, contact number, email address.
Sales and complaint-related information: information about purchases, including the customer’s identity, contract number, and information regarding warranties, complaints, delivery, support, and services, including objections and requests.
Purpose of Data Collection:
Product Sales – For the purpose of processing orders, TF collects personal data, sales information, and customer history when you purchase, file a complaint about, or replace a product purchased from us, including warranty claims and verification requests. Such data will be used to provide the services you have requested, to inform you about matters related to your product, and to fulfill the concluded contract.
Providing personal data for the purpose of fulfilling a concluded contract constitutes a contractual obligation. If you do not provide such data, this may affect the proper performance of the contract or even make its performance impossible.
Customer Support and Marketing – In order to respond to inquiries and provide news and offers, TF collects personal data and may use it to provide customer support, respond to inquiries and complaints, assess which news and offers are most likely to be of interest to you, and contact you regarding such offers in accordance with your interests.
Transfers to Third Parties – Personal data may be transferred to third parties, provided that there is a legal basis for such transfer.
Your personal data may be transferred to the following entities::
1. For the performance of goods delivery contracts, we will share data with delivery service providers with whom we cooperate and have concluded contracts. The distribution service provider may request presentation of a personal identification document upon delivery of goods or services and/or record certain data from such document. If the user is unwilling to provide the data necessary for delivery of the package, i.e., proof of the ordering party, the service or goods cannot be delivered.
- State authorities that request access to data for the purpose of further processing or for the purpose of enforcing TF’s rights due to non-compliance with the service agreement.

- Accounting service Konto d.o.o., Belišće, which processes all incoming/outgoing invoices and payroll.
- Law Office Davor Petrović, which provides legal assistance related to overall business operations.
- Auditing company Auditus d.o.o., Osijek, which performs the legally prescribed annual audit of our business operations.
- Internet marketing company Intuit Inc., which provides the Newsletter service.
Where Personal Data Are Stored:
All data are stored on several media:
- Customer data (as purchaser):
– On the tehno-filter.hr email system hosted on a leased server of TOTO HOST d.o.o., which provides web hosting services.
- Data for promotional purposes:
– In the PAUK business software, hosted on the cloud server of Vanado d.o.o..
– In the Cimerman business software, on TF’s own server.
– In the Synesis business software, on TF’s own server.
– On the server of Sokoli, as a backup system for Synesis.
- Video surveillance recordings:
– On the video surveillance server within TF’s internal network.
- Newsletter email addresses:
– On the servers of Intuit Inc.
Access to and Modification of Data:
Customers/users may at any time obtain information about which personal data TF has stored by submitting a request to dpo@tehno-filter.hr .
We will be able to provide a response to your request only if it is sent from an active email address recorded in our business software and contains accurate identifying details (first and last name, telephone number of the user requesting the information). This measure is in place to protect you from the risk of your personal data being disclosed to unauthorized third parties.
Right to Erasure (“Right to Be Forgotten”):
Users have the right to request the deletion of their personal data at any time. Such a request may be submitted by email to dpo@tehno-filter.hr The data will be deleted without undue delay, except where there is a legal obligation to retain the data, a legitimate interest, or a legal basis for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
We will be able to respond to your request only if it is sent from an active email address recorded in our business software and contains accurate identifying details (first and last name, telephone number of the user requesting the information), in order to prevent unauthorized disclosure of your personal data.
Right to Lodge a Complaint:
If, despite all measures taken to protect personal data, you believe you have grounds for complaint, please contact us at dpo@tehno-filter.hr. In addition to contacting us, you may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency.
Amendments to the Privacy Policy
TF may amend this Privacy Policy at any time by publishing the revised text on the Website. Users are encouraged to periodically review this Policy, where any recent changes will be indicated.
If a user does not agree with this Privacy Policy, the user is instructed to leave, refrain from accessing, and discontinue using the website www.tehno-filter.hr.
